Awards and Recognition
The SWA Board of Directors continues to be committed to provide resources and opportunities to promote and recognize staff excellence within the agencies the membership represents. One way of implementing this effort was to expand staff recognition by presenting two awards along with public recognition for each of the awards.

Given to outstanding direct care staff The SWA Award for Excellence
Given to outstanding non-direct care, support staff
These awards recognize individuals for their professionalism, commitment, character, dedication, length of service and contribution to quality child care services and programs.
